5 minutes in purgatory

SO, now that I have that previous paper in the bag and graded, I may as well use this blog for what they are for....charting my random observations of thought and politics and sometimes rambling about the tedious details of my life. Hell, if I'm going to do it, it might as well be through a socially-acceptable medium. I currently aim for about five minutes a day --enough for an interesting snapshot, not enough for drifting or time-sucking of myself or whosoever this may concern. Speaking of which, I think that is an old-fashioned colloquialism in need of a ressurection: the phrase applies pretty much to everything on the web, or indeed all thought. Not to one person, not to a caste of people, but to whoever this material may interest or even, somehow, someway need. Time's up!
